Day 22 - ouch!

Good things today:
- putting Richard's salsa recipe into action and on my plate. Great flavour - thank you Richard!;
- doing bike and exercises in the gym at lunch time leaving only skipping for the evening;
- rattling through skips when I got home with fewest ever number of trips (still lots but getting some rhythm);
- someone told me I was looking good!

Bad thing today:
- knees hurt after skipping for the first time - I'm hoping it's a one off but any tips on this one gratefully received

  1. Hey hey! Glad you liked the salsa! One more thing if you want to kick it up yet another notch... and its something that I had totally forgotten about until a couple of days ago. When I first made this, I took a bunch of garlic, cut the end off and roasted it whole. When its good and mushy and browned (but not burned), take it out, let it cool and peel it. Then, instead of using the raw garlic for the salsa, use the roasted cloves instead. Phenomenal!!!! Just did it again yesterday and its heavenly... kind of more of a smoky garlic flavor.

    Oh, and on the skipping, as I struggled with that throughout PCP so I've got a tiny bit of insight... just keep going. It honestly should get better. But if it doesn't and actually really starts to pain you, let Patrick know and he can give you some alternative cardio to get you over the hump. But you will still want to get back to the skipping (even if you are dreadful at it like me). Its absolutely central to your cardio progress and burning fat early in the morning if you can...
